Each piece transforms the timeless silhouette of the áo dài into a collectible work of wearable art, thoughtfully inspired by Vietnamese colors, symbolism, traditions, and craftsmanship.

Our mission is to preserve, celebrate, and share Vietnamese heritage through art, research, education, and storytelling.
Some of our collections begin with original contemporary designs. Others draw inspiration from Vietnamese folk art, cultural symbols, regional traditions, and historical artistic forms.

The Ao Dai Art Heritage Library is a growing collection of researched stories exploring the áo dài, Vietnamese history, traditional arts, cultural symbols, folk traditions, and the people and ideas that have shaped Vietnam.
Whenever possible, our research draws from museums, academic publications, historical records, cultural institutions, designers, artists, and other credible sources.
Our goal is to make Vietnamese heritage engaging, understandable, and accessible to people wherever they live.

Ao Dai Art collaborates with Vietnamese designers and artists to transform original and culturally inspired ideas into miniature áo dài artworks.
Rather than simply reproducing the past, we seek to understand the stories behind our inspiration and thoughtfully reinterpret them through contemporary design.
Each miniature áo dài is custom designed, custom printed, carefully sewn, and produced in small batches before being presented as a collectible display piece.
Made to Match
For special moments, Ao Dai Art can also create custom miniature áo dài designed to coordinate with áo dài worn by adults or children.
Colors, motifs, and design details can be interpreted in miniature to create a meaningful matching experience for weddings, Tết, family celebrations, milestone events, or keepsake gifts.
A full size áo dài and its miniature counterpart become two expressions of the same story.
Creating With Purpose

A Note from Our Founder
Ao Dai Art began with a simple idea: the áo dài is more than clothing. It is wearable art that tells the story of Vietnam.
As Ao Dai Art has grown, that idea has grown with it. Preserving the beauty of the áo dài also means preserving the history, art, traditions, people, and cultural knowledge that give Vietnamese design its meaning.
As a Vietnamese American, I believe our heritage deserves to be celebrated, studied, shared, and passed forward.
Through our miniature áo dài artworks, Heritage Library, custom creations, and community collaborations, I hope Ao Dai Art can help connect generations and introduce people around the world to more of Vietnam’s extraordinary cultural story.
